Alicia Keys looked very elegant with her vintage up do. This could be a great summer look or a great look fro an elegant bride.
Corinne Bailey Rae looked very beautiful and playful with her side-styled curls. This is a great way to spice up a twist set or twist out.
I am not a fan of lace front wigs but i must say J Hudson's hair was not that bad. It looked very natural and elegant. The hair had body and movement. This look could also be achieved on your natural hair.
Natural beauty starts from within. Being true too yourself and loving yourself is the best beauty secret ever.

You Really Are What You Eat........
Natural hair has evolved from a movement to a lifestyle. We have become more knowledgeable consumers. We are now reading product labels and educating ourselves on different good/bad product ingredients. While all this is wonderful, I am a true believer that beauty starts from the inside. So, as we search for the best products. We should also be on a search for a healthy hair food plan.
Hair is 98% protein. Nutritionists advise healthy hair seekers to eat well balanced diets that incorporate healthy proteins. Along with foods high in vitamin B,C,E,A and K. Hair instantly responds to the addition of protein rich foods. Here are a few things that you could do to improve your hair's health from the inside. Along with a proper diet healthy hair seeker's need two essential fatty acids. Omega-3 and Omega-6 which are not produced naturally by the human body. Omega -3 fats are found mostly in algae, cold water fish, dark green veggies, hemp oil and pumpkin seed oil. Flax oil is considered the most concentrated source of omega-3 found in nature. Omega-6 fats include borage, evening primrose oil, safflower oil, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, corn and pumpkin seeds. Other foods rich in essential fatty acids include english walnuts, kidney beans, navy beans and soy beans.
Cold -pressed vegetable oils are also essential to a hair healthy diet. Lack of these oils causes dull, lifeless hair along with parched, rough skin. Add a teaspoon to your fresh salad daily and your hair will instantly benefit.
So, I think it's time for us to start taking care of our inside beauty along with the outside. We need to stock our cabinets and fridges with great hair food, just like we stock our medicine cabinets with the latest hair product.
NOTE: Please consult with your physician/nutritionist before undertaking any long term nutritional plans.
